As some of you may know, I went on a cross-country road trip with my brother several months ago. We took the southern route (heaven forbid we found ourselves stranded in Michigan during a winter snowstorm), which took us into the delicious BBQ heartland of America. During one of our brief stops in Atlanta, I received an inquiry that very day from a local resident who would be getting married in my hometown of Baltimore. What?! This sounded way too coincidental/crazy to be true – but we nevertheless set up a last-minute meeting at one of Atlanta’s local markets (hardly a conventional choice for meeting with potential clients, but I digress). Surrounded by craft beers and BBQ, we chatted about their wedding plans over some of Atlanta’s finest grub, and the rest was pretty much history. A few weeks ago, we met “halfway” in DC for their engagement session, which is where these two lovebirds first started their journey together, and I was simply ecstatic just to be a part of it. Don’t you just love it when everything just seems to work out so effortlessly and perfectly?
