I first met Sylvia a few years ago, at another wedding where I was second-shooting for another photographer. I thought I’d never see this crowd again (especially since I was no longer in Baltimore), but we forget one simple fact: every Asian person in the NYC area on earth is somehow connected to one another by no more than 2 degrees of separation (through unicorn magic, I presume).  We did manage to reconnect after the wedding, and we did manage to prove that the Asian community is just as teeny-teeny-tiny as we suspected all along. In any case, I was very humbled and flattered when we received Sylvia and Joe’s inquiry. Afterall, I was just the second-shooter when we first met. I couldn’t possibly take the booking without the primary shooter‘s blessings. But long story short, everything worked out and everybody’s a-ok :).
At the conclusion of their engagement session, I have to admit: Sylvia and Joe are an adorable couple. Throw in a fluffy dog, and we’re all practically doomed to explode from all this cuteness overload. We started their session at a nearby neighborhood park.
And for your viewing pleasure, some behind-the-scenes action :).
Many congrats to Sylvia and Joe, and thanks for allowing us to document this wonderful milestone in your lives. We hope you enjoyed your day with us, and we can’t wait to see you guys later this year!
And of course, many thanks to Ann at Anny Photography for your blessings, as well as your love and support all these years. We only hope to one day return your generosity and kindness a hundred-fold :).
