[Engagement] Lauren & John – Hoboken, NJ

It’s no secret that we shoot under any weather conditions – which includes rain, snow, hurricanes and heat waves. Not every wedding that we shoot will feature 75 degree weather with a few clouds and a cool breeze, which is exactly why we don’t normally wait for those kinds of days for our engagement sessions. For Lauren and John’s engagement, the rain was literally coming in sideways. If I’m not mistaken, the rain may have been going up-ways, if that were even possible.  Nevertheless, these two were such great sports for hanging out with me on a rainy day! The silver lining in all of this? It was only raining for the first half of our session, and it was nice and cloudy for the latter half…and we had all of Hoboken to ourselves :).

Lauren and John, thank you so much for spending a rainy afternoon with yours truly! We hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed capturing them. We can’t wait to see you guys in a few more months!

As for me, I’m still recovering from yesterday’s wedding – I must’ve lost 20 lbs in sweat alone! But there’s still much work to be done, my friends! Stay tuned for more!

Hope everyone’s weekend is fantabulous :).
