The leaves on the trees had just turned into a blaze of orange and auburn when we arrived in the middle of Greenport that afternoon. Many of the stores on Main Street were already closed for the season, with the brisk autumn wind blowing past the swinging sign hanging above an empty barber shop. We found respite inside a quiet gelato shop that was decorated with miniature carousels along the walls and counter space. A small handwritten sign was taped to one of the carousel that plainly read: No Photography Permitted.
Sign? What sign?
We’d already spent the afternoon with Tivoli and David taking their engagement photos at the beautiful Raphael Winery.
Here’s a little snippit of our adventure :).
Now that we got all the “romantic” images out of the way, it was time to have some fun :).
Tivoli and David first met while working together at a bookstore.
According to legend, Tivoli tirelessly re-shelved books while David goofed off most of the time.
But that’ll be our little secret :).
