Kimberly & Burak are certainly not one of those couples, as they suggested all the wonderful, charming places in/around their home turf. We started their session at the always-gorgeous Snug Harbor, with a quick stopover at Historic Richmondtown. After a few hours with them, they’ve enlightened me with all the awesome things that make up Staten Island, which go far beyond some well-known bridges, chili cook-offs and a well-known local Tiki Bar.
[Engagement] Kimberly & Burak – Staten Island, NY
We have many clients who hang their hats in Staten Island, but many of them generally venture out to the other boroughs (or even New Jersey…egads!) when it comes time to do their engagement session. I’ve been known to recommend (to Staten Island clients) how the Verrazano Bridge or Goethals Bridge would be amazing backdrops for an engagement session – but all I get are generally bizarre looks, courteous chuckles and my personal favorite: “Are ya outta ya frigg’n mind?!?!”
