“How about Watchung Reservation?” they asked, as they were sitting in our living room brainstorming for engagement session location ideas. “As in…the Watchung Reservation that’s down the street from here?” I replied, looking up from my notes. As it turned out, Sarah and Kristin were not interested in anything/anywhere fancy or over-the-top; they simply wanted the session to be about them (and possibly their dog), and their life and love they share with each other. And as a wedding photographer, I couldn’t agree more with this approach. We started their session at home (along with the awesomest dog in the world Cooper!), and went around the corner to Watchung Reservation to wrap up this amazingly warm and fuzzy engagement session.
