[Wedding] Zoie & Daniel – Chart House in Weehawken, NJ
The ironic thing about Zoie & Daniel’s rainy wedding day was that it rained during their engagement session too: and everything came out GORGEOUS. You see that “contact” form at the top of this page? That’s them right there :). So for all intents and purposes, we already knew Zoie & Daniel were going to hit it out of the park regardless of what Mother Nature had in store for us. They say that “Rain on a wedding day are the tears of lovers’ past”, or that “Wet knots cannot be undone”. These are all things that people say whenever it rains on a wedding day, and I’ve pretty much heard them all. While the consolation is well-intended, the key thing to remember is that the most important part of ANY wedding day is the couple themselves. Everything else, for the most part, are simply details. For rainy wedding days, we generally have two options: (a) Find an indoor shooting location, or (b) Play in the rain. For Zoie & Daniel’s Chart House wedding in Weehawken, we opted for the former – but as it turned out (as it usually does), Mother Nature gifted us with a small window of 30 minutes to take all the outdoor photos we needed. Best wedding present ever.
