Jon’s brother, his best man, summarized it best during his toast that evening: “[Lauryn & Jon] had been dating for eight years. There’s a certain sequence of events that’s supposed to happen when you date someone for eight years. One of which is engagement. The other is murder.” *ba-da-bump* On a side note – do you know how hard it is to balance several pounds of camera gear on your face while you’re giggling uncontrollably? It ain’t easy!
Lauryn & Jon’s late fall wedding down the Jersey Shore couldn’t have been more perfect. It’s not every wedding I get the chance to photograph portraits at three different locations, without a first look, and still manage to stay on schedule! Jon’s big day started with a quick stop at Swagger & Blade with the fellas, while Lauryn and the ladies prettied themselves up at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel. Although we were well on our way into winter, you wouldn’t have been able to tell with all those big smiles on their faces! We wrapped up their wedding celebration at the always-gorgeous Clarks Landing in Point Pleasant, one of our favorite wedding venues on the Jersey Shore.
