“We’re going to throw you another party in Ecuador, and we’re going to slaughter a cow in your honor!” yells an Uncle from across the room. The entire room erupts in cheers and laughter. Poor Cow. I thought to myself. Poor, yummy, delicious, cow. Rosy and Kevin’s wedding took place only a few days after the official start of Winter, but it appeared Mother Nature had already gotten into the groove of things. The forecast called for a healthy dose of frigid temperatures to go along with an impending snowpocalpyse. But the thought of a 1500 lb piece of steak roasting on an open fire was more than enough to keep us all warm.
