From their engagement session, and now on their wedding day, we’re so very grateful to have had the opportunity to document Elizabeth & Erik’s lives together in Washington DC. Despite having spent a fair amount of time of my twenties in DC, I never did get a chance to appreciate some of the charming areas that Elizabeth & Erik now call their home. Their day started at their home in the suburbs of DC, with two of the most adorable felines I’ve ever encountered. After a quick stop at a nearby park for their first look (another hidden find!), we made our way to a local microbrewery to unofficially kick off their wedding festivities (seriously, where are they finding these awesome places?). Their wedding ceremony and reception were held at the gorgeous St. Francis Hall in Washington DC, where we were surrounded by some of the most gorgeous architecture outside of the usual monuments in and around town. Though we’ve photographed our fair share of Washington DC weddings in our career, we know for a fact that this will be one for the books!
