When we arrived at the groom’s suite that morning, we were greeted by a visibly flushed groom dressed in his undershirt and gym shorts. His choice of attire was mildly peculiar to say the least, because a blast of arctic air had also whooshed into the hallway when he opened the door. As he downed another icy cold bottle of beer in one giant gulp, that’s when timing of this winter wedding finally made sense :). Because we’ve been experiencing some strange weather anomalies this year, it was actually quite warm on the morning of Melissa & Gerard’s wedding in Point Pleasant – which probably made things a little uncomfortable for our honorary Eskimo groom. But thankfully for him, things did chill up quite considerably, as an icy mist descended upon them during our photo session at Spring Lake Heights. Mother Nature is a funny, fickle thing :). Nevertheless, Melissa & Gerard were such troopers for bearing the cold for just a few moments longer before continuing their celebration at the Sunset Ballroom.
