When I left NYC over 20 years ago, I never thought I would ever return. I had resigned myself to a comfortable life below the Mason Dixon, and was fully content with spending the remainder of my days in the tree-lined streets of suburbia (or at least something close to it). In hindsight, I can certainly appreciate the humor of such worldly musings of a brooding 13 year-old. Now that I’m a more sensible 30-something year-old (and not quite brooding all the time), I have a newfound appreciation of a city which was my first home for over 13 years, and stomping grounds for the past 10. Though I now hang my hat on the other side of the Hudson, I don’t think I could ever leave this wonderful place. Not far from my old haunts of Manhattan’s Chinatown is Tribeca; home of Beyonce, Gwenyth (yes, that one), cobblestones galore and none other than the Tribeca Rooftop. Having shot here close to a half-dozen times, the Tribeca Rooftop will probably rank as one of my favorite wedding venues in NYC. Why? Just look at that gorgeous view!
