Though there are undoubtedly many gifts that I possess in life (sense of humor, charm and modesty), my circle of friends, family and clients will unanimously agree that grace & finesse are not on that list. It’s a miracle I’ve survived this long on this earth, much less manage to wake up every morning to navigate another day filled with normal everyday things that would only be a hazard to yours truly (ie. ceilings, sprinklers and stairs, to name a few). There’s a Chinese proverb that says when misfortune happens upon a person, it’s a way to balance out the good fortune that’s going to everyone else in their immediate circle. To that, I say “You’re very welcome, people!” Thanks to me, Victoria & Josh are now proud new owners of a cranium-sized dent somewhere near/around their living room ceiling, and a lightly worn/practically new rain jacket (which would’ve actually been quite useful for their drizzle-y wedding day). Though Victoria & Josh’s wedding at the Venetian had some rain in their forecast, this was a great opportunity for some amazing portraits under the arched spaces of Lambert Castle. We started their day at their beautiful home in Northern New Jersey.
