We first met Cristina & Paul at another wedding several years ago, specifically when I made my usual rounds along the aisles reminding guests to behave themselves during the ceremony. Because I’ve documented my fair share of iPads slowly creeping out into the aisle (thereby obstructing my view of the bride, and even more importantly, the groom’s view of his soon-to-be wife), I’ve come to discover that a warm introduction, a firm handshake, and a few polite words did wonders for my workdays (and life in general). Cristina & Paul absolutely loved all of this, and soon found themselves laughing and wandering around Brooklyn with yours truly, for a photo session of their own. We didn’t visit our usual haunts for this Brooklyn Engagement session, which kicked everything off at a local bar at one of their favorite neighborhoods. After grabbing a complimentary hot dog by the park (yes, FREE!), we made our way to Red Hook to wrap up their session with some wine and some improv (compliments of Paul), featuring famous dictators of the 20th century. These two goofballs are indeed a perfect pair, and we had such a great time photographing their Brooklyn engagement session!
