One of the promises that I make to prospective clients is that if I’ve done my job right, they’ll “have a friend and photographer for life”. While to some people it may sound clichéd, disingenuous, or even Stage-5 clingy, I share and commit to these sentiments with every ounce of my being. Yes, I love my job. But most importantly, I love the people I get to do it with and I don’t think I would have it any other way.
And every now and then, we’ll even get some love’n sent our way. It’s never expected, but it’s always appreciated. in Frank & Jillian’s case, I actually got a special shout-out and a song request, at the groom’s behest. I won’t say which song, exactly – lest we start spreading rumors about this strange, unlikely bromance between a groom and his photographer. But let’s just say it involves a saxophone, a pair of sunglasses, and a boat load of hair spray :).
Jillian & Frank’s gorgeous outdoor garden wedding took place at the Brookville Country Club this past summer, and there’s only one word that could possibly describe it: HOT. This probably explains why we witnessed one of the quickest sprints down the aisle that I’d ever seen my career :). But once the sun went down, we were presented with one of the most gorgeous sunsets that Long Island has ever seen. You best believe we’re going out to shoot in that!
