Having grown up in Baltimore for 1/3 of my life, I thought I’d explored every possible corner there was to see in Baltimore. The Wire? Been there. Hairspray? Done that. Baltimore Half-Marathon-that-nearly-killed-me-in-2009? Totally got the t-shirt. “Wait, there’s an arboretum in Baltimore?” I remember asking Alina. But of course, I should’ve known better. Clearly, there was one, and of course Alina (and Yuriy) would know about it. You see, Alina and Yuriy are not your typical soon-to-be bride and groom; these two lovebirds also happen to be fellow wedding and portrait photographers in Baltimore. This meant there was a very high likelihood they’d know Baltimore like the back of their hands. Their engagement session started at the Cylburn Arboretum, with a quick stop over at Mt. Washington for ice cream. And to be quite honest, we could’ve wrapped up our engagement session at the arboretum, but hot summer sessions always calls for ice cream!
