As we head into mid-Spring, this means the wedding/engagement session season is upon us (which  also explains why it’s been 3 weeks since my last post!). But I can whole-heartedly promise you that it wasn’t for lack of trying :). Jackson and I used to work together at a place that I’ll always remember endearingly as “The Chicken Factory”, a place where I honed invaluable business management skills and perfected my awesome poultry-processing techniques before haphazardly jumping ship into the world of wedding photography. It’s been 3 years since that leap of faith, but it’s refreshing to know that my old colleagues still continue to treat me as one of their own. It’s seems almost poetic, having someone from my past professional life playing a role in my current one.
Amy and Jackson have been together for a very long time. So long, in fact, that they were essentially an old married couple by the time their engagement session rolled around. Though they hail from my hometown of Brooklyn, they wanted a different backdrop that you could only find at the NJ Botanical Gardens. The most awesome part of this? We started so early, we essentially had the entire place to ourselves :).
