We knew we were going to love Lea & Alex from the very first moment we met them. It’s not very often that we drink (or go out, for that matter), much less drink with clients (during initial meeting, to boot!). To tell you the truth, I don’t even remember discussing business very much that evening; just jokes and alcohol all night long. I basically had to cut myself off at some point, in the off chance I’d end up doing/saying something ridiculous (like offering to shoot their wedding for free, etc). We planned their engagement session itinerary shortly after that evening, with a little adventure around their neighborhood in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. At some point during that session, we found ourselves scarfing down sandwiches at nearby Katz Deli (renowned for this famous movie scene). For inquiring minds, the answer is: “Yes, we did it (sorta).” And the follow-up answer to your hypothetical follow-up question is: “No, those photos will never see the light of day!”
The sandwiches were delicious though :).
