We had quite the mild summer here in NYC, which is an indescribable godsend for many brides who are typically decked out in 20lbs of satin and lace. We thought we were in the clear as we headed into September, but Mother Nature had other plans for us. The Upper East Side was a sticky, 90° as we made our way to Central Park. We were racing against the storm clouds that were quickly descending upon Manhattan that afternoon, with a forecast of torrential downpour sometime within the next 30 minutes. But as I often tell all my brides, it never rains when I’m shooting. This day would be no exception. Alyssa & Gary tied the knot at the Lotos Club in Upper Manhattan. Here’s a peek of their day.
