You can tell alot about a couple based on all the little things to do for their guests on their wedding day. Sometimes, it’s the unique touch they put into their wedding favors, or the amazing band/dj they hire to entertain the crowd. In Cheryl & Jon’s case, it was all of the above. But what most people will remember of course, would be the fine touches that Jon added to everyone’s welcoming bags at the front desk of their hotel: an unassuming, clear, plastic pouch with drawstrings. Upon further investigation, we came to understand this highly unusual item to be a remote control pouch – the kind you place around the most germy thing you can find in a hotel room. As a fellow Asian, I absolutely understand the important need to wrap my valuable things in plastic too (people who’ve seen my phone will know this is 100% true). I commend Jon for his foresight and thoughtfulness. Nobody wants to be germy when there’s a wedding to celebrate!
Cheryl & Jon tied the knot at St. Aedan’s Church, followed by their wedding reception at the always lovely Maritime Parc in Jersey City. Here’s a peek of their day:
