According to my unofficial calculations, there was a slim-to-good chance the arrival of our second child would coincide with Lisa and Matt’s wedding. Â And as we all know (much to everyone’s relief), the kiddo’s late arrival was sandwiched between two other weddings (phew). This goes to show that not all Asians are good at math (or guessing, for that matter), and my second son was kind enough to let his photographer dad work at Lisa and Matt’s awesome wedding at none other than the Baltimore Museum of Industry: hands down one of the most coolest venues I’ve ever worked in Baltimore City!
We’ve been waiting for this wedding for quite some time now. I know this, because Lisa and Matt booked us before there was even a calendar for us to put their wedding date in :). While there had been about 12 – 13 years since I’d last seen Lisa, she some how caught wind that an old high school mate had become some awesome NJ wedding photographer and was still trudging around the old stomping grounds of Baltimore and shooting weddings. When we finally met for our mini-reunion and went over all the wonderful details of their day, there was no possible way I could ever say no! And just like that, the rest was history!
Lisa and Matt’s day started in Harbor East, the new neighborhood in town with high-rises boasting magnificent views of the Inner Harbor. This was not the Baltimore that I remembered while growing up here, but one can hardly complain :).
And of course, no wedding is complete without a photo booth.
And oh..my…goodness…I spent nearly 20 minutes just laughing at my computer when these pictures popped up on the screen.
This party wouldn’t have been possible without the help from the following folks!

Lisa and Matt, thank you so much for sharing your day with us. We wish you two many years of happiness and we sincerely hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed capturing them!
I can’t believe it’s Friday already, and we’ve been on a roll this entire week. Working in pajamas and sticking an iPad to the Lil Monster certainly helps :).
Here’s to a fantastic December!
