Out there in the universe, there’s a saying that couple’s who cycle together, stay together. And out there in the universe, there’s an awesome NJ wedding photographer who’s just totally making up quotes as he goes along, but I digress :). Back to the cycling bit – after photographing these two in Prospect Park with their pretty awesome bikes, I seriously had to re-examine my cycling game. It takes a special type of commitment to cycle the 16 miles every day round trip between Brooklyn and Manhattan, but of course this is a great thing; not only are they burning a bajillion calories before their wedding day, they’re demonstrating an uncanny level of commitment they’ll likely one day share together as husband and wife. Their engagement session took place in my old childhood stomping grounds of Prospect Park, complete with an impending torrent of rain coming our way. This meant we had to work fast; the bikes came in useful afterall!
