Wow. Where do I even begin? Ever since I met Meghan & Dean (which seems like ages ago), I suspected I was in for something special. Once I got them in front of my cameras the first time around for their retro/vintage/editorial engagement session in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, they pretty much confirmed those suspicions: this is one helluva fun couple to photograph! Meghan & Dean’s winter wedding at the Rock Island Lake Club did have a few hints of the holiday season, and we were grateful that their winter wedding day actually looked/felt like winter (what’s this 70° weather we’re having here in the Northeast….in February?). These two were such troopers for braving the windchills in the single digits, if only for the sole purpose of creating these breath-taking winter wedding photos (next to a FROZEN LAKE, mind you!). They’ve been on my calendar over these past 2+ years, and I would be lying if I didn’t say I was eagerly waiting for this ridiculously gorgeous day. And over these past 2+ years, they’ve been one of our biggest fans, and their love/support enabled us to take some of the most awesome wedding photos we’ve ever created. Seriously. Just look at all this awesomeness!
