After adulting for the better part of 2 decades, I’m almost pretty sure that everybody else in the universe works on their birthday, so there probably isn’t an exception for wedding photographers. Just think about it: I’m literally surrounded by delicious food, great music and most importantly, there’s free cake! Needless to say, when Hillary & RJ first approached me to photograph their wedding at the Shadowbrook in Shrewsbury, I was beyond thrilled. Their outdoor wedding ceremony took place at the Shadowbrook in mid-Fall, with their reception in their newly renovated ballroom. We kicked off their day at nearby hotels and one of the nicest on-site bridal suites I’ve seen in a long time!
