When we last met Korey and Eric for their engagement session, they promised us a wedding day we would never forget. It’s a line we’ve heard many times before, but it was the first time we actually believed it. For starters, we knew their wedding was going to take place on the tail-end of one of the BUSIEST WEEKS OF OUR LIVES! We would be in six cities spanning across 5 states and a Canadian province, shooting a grand total of 4 weddings and an engagement session while squeezing in a handful of meetings in between…all within a week’s time.
So for obvious reasons, we looked forward to their wedding not only because we loved these two, but because it marked the end of such a grueling (yet equally awesome) week for us here Ben Lau Photography. It was a celebration for us as much as it was for them. Furthermore, Korey and Eric revealed to us that they were holding their intimate reception at their favorite Mexican restaurant, Don Ricardos in their stomping grounds of Babylon, NY. Anyone who knows us, knows that Karis and I LOOOOVE Mexican food but we abstain from it during the wedding season for obvious reasons :). But since our shooting calendars were free for an entire week, it was fiesta time for everyone!

That last image was too irresistible not to capture. On all fronts, I’m not sure if the bull appreciates what the matador is doing to him :). Korey and Eric, thank you so much for helping us round off such a long week with such a great celebration of family, friendship and love! We love you guys probably just as much as we love Mexican food, which is A LOT! We wish you two the very best as you embark on your journey towards happily ever after.
