When you’ve been a wedding photographer for as long as we’ve been, you’ll very soon discover that Kristine & Miguel are a very special couple indeed. If their engagement session inside the stairwell of a random parking garage was any indication, these two would do pretty much anything and everything we threw their way. They were both our biggest fans and cheerleaders, all wrapped up into a pair of adorable lovebirds with a sense of fun of adventure. Though the hail from NYC, they decided to host their wedding at the John James Audubon Center, which as they put it: “was a destination wedding for pretty much everyone on their guest list”. And to their credit, there’s certainly no wedding venue quite like it in NYC or New Jersey (and we’ve literally shot at a bajillion of them). They were able to turn a raw, open space into a winter wonderland with floral arrangements and lights galore. Not even a little bit of rain on their wintry wedding day was going to dampen their spirits – there were more than enough love, joy and warmth to go around.
