As the story goes, Sandra and Paul met in 2006 “at a party”, which usually translates to some sort of online element to their introduction (which is actually quite common, based on my book of clients). But the truth is, Sandra and Paul really did meet at a holiday party in 2006, and they even have photos to prove it :). After Sandra teased Paul about drinking a non-alcoholic beverage at a party, he was instantly hooked. Why wouldn’t he? It’s a known fact that men enjoy the occasional abuse, and I’m almost convinced his glass of orange juice was his bait for Sandra. Long story short, Sandra was actually visiting from Hong Kong…and already had a boyfriend. Things didn’t bode well for our Prince Charming. But after many months of chatting online (across 12 time zones, mind you) , sending chocolates, and consuming many cups of coffee/orange juice, Paul was finally able to win her over.
Fast-forward to Fall of 2011. Sandra had contacted us (since she’s heard such fabulous things about us!), but we were already booked. So Sandra and Paul got the next-best-thing, and booked an engagement session with us instead. Long story short (again), we never did receive that contract back from the other client. After a few quick FB messages (it literally took minutes), Sandra and Paul’s wedding day were officially marked on our calendars. We were beyond excited to capture their big day!
Sandra and Paul, THANK YOU so much for allowing us to be part of your special day. We were tremendously honored to be there not only as your photographers, but also as your friends. We sincerely wish you two the very best that married life has to offer, filled with many years of love, laughter, happiness and CHILDREN! We hope you two enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed capturing them. To the both of you and all your guests who made us feel at home, THANK YOU.
