As I spent the last four days in Baltimore immersed in yummy food, all I could think about was how I was going to get home in time to have a blog entry ready for Monday. The work of a photographer/blogger/part-time dad never ends :). The good news is that while I was out on a shooting/meeting marathon back in the Charm City, Karis willfully commandeered the nice chair in our office and dove into the small mountain of images sitting in our (pretty) gimungo inboxes waiting to be processed. Bad news? There are none, aside from the fact that none of us (with the exception of Lil Monster 1.0) have had any sleep these past few nights. But now that I’m back home, we hope to return to a work-life with some semblance of normalcy. Because you know, the kiddos know that dad don’t mess around :).
Sarah and Ed tied the knot at The Manor in West Orange. There are only a few words I could use to describe their wedding day: sunny…with a side of sunny. On the bright side of things (har har), this was much better than wet…with a side of more wet :). This meant fun sunglasses and ice-cold bottles of water for everyone!
And of course, our favorite part of the day…
Mucho thanks to the following folks who made this party possible!

Many, many thanks to Sarah and Ed once again. We were so incredibly honored to document your big day! We wish you two many years of love and laughter. We hope you enjoy these as much as we enjoyed capturing them!
Another wedding down, and about 232,350,984,350 more weddings to go (or so it seems like!). I just checked my calendar this morning and it looks like our wedding shooting season has been extended into December, which means we get a much deserved two week break before we head back out in January! If you want a visual of what’s going on at Ben Lau Photography HQ when we heard this news, imagine LMFAO blasting in the background while Karis and I dance around in ours sweats with Lil Monster 1.0 :). Everyday we’re hustle’n!
Didn’t you guys know Casual Monday’s the new Casual Friday?
Hope you guys have a fantastic week :).
Ben & Karis (and Lil Monster 1.0!)
