When we’re in “work-mode” on a typical wedding day, taking care of our clients (by taking pretty pictures of them!) is our number one priority. On the totem pole of all the important concerns that any reasonable person should have on any given wedding day, the wedding photographer’s personal preferences/needs/wants/desires rank pretty low – and quite honestly, that’s the way it really should be :). But when Rimma & Danny managed to check off every single box off the list of “Things to Make a Wedding Photographer’s Life Easy” (a list that I pretty much just made up right now), it’s no surprise they managed to yield some of our most beautiful images to date. In no particular order, they (1) celebrated their wedding at the wonderfully amazing Crabtree’s Kittle House in Chappaqua, NY, complete with its rustic charm and legendary menu and service, (2) kept their bridal party minimal (and on time!), (3) kept it 100% real. That last one is especially important because as photographers who were privileged to document the evening’s festivities, we observed genuine love and joy in the room. All the camera magic and photoshop wizardry in the world can’t reproduce those kinds of feelings, and we were just so lucky to have been swimming in an abundance of it. As Rimma & Danny forge ahead on their new adventures on the West Coast, based on everything we’ve seen through their engagement to their wedding day, we know they have a bright future ahead together!
