Throughout this pandemic, I’d venture to say that hosting a wedding, with all things considered, has been quite manageable; that’s because the rules were clear because there haven’t been (too) many unknowns. The hardest part? Trying to host a wedding while transitioning INTO a pandemic, and OUT of a pandemic – those were some the craziest weeks throughout this entire ordeal. Were masks required? Did we need to show our vaccination records? And why are these curious-looking 6 feet circles on the dancefloor?
So many unknowns. So many questions.
But one thing we did know, the one thing we didn’t question – was that Wenona & Titus were finally ready to celebrate their nuptials (safely!) with their friends and family, many of whom they hadn’t seen since the pandemic began. I mean – this was the future that we’d all been waiting for, right?
With NY State lifting their COVID-related restrictions as a result of all the progress we’ve been making, weddings were finally happening again. Even more importantly, I’m beyond thrilled that we didn’t have to keep Titus confined within a 6ft circle on the dance floor :). Congrats again guys- we are so incredibly happy for you two, and we’re over the moon that we got to document this wonderful day for you!
