Roughly seven years ago, I relinquished my destiny as the “Future King of Chicken of all of New Jersey” (according to my father) so that I could answer my true calling as professional Dad-Joke Teller (with some minor side-work in photography). I’ve told this story so many times over the years, but there are only a handful of people in the universe who know the stories of my days working at the chicken factory are unequivocally true. One of those individuals just so happened to be the uncle of our beautiful bride Jessica. Imagine my surprise (and I can imagine his surprise too) when we saw each other for the first time in seven years, wearing something other than non-slip boots, several layers of thermals, and not smelling like a chicken factory! But I digress :). Jessica & Joe’s winter wedding at the Park Savoy was pretty much everything you could possibly expect: I mean, if it’s going to be a cold wedding day, there better be some fresh snow coming down from the sky! Add in all the festive decorations for the holiday season, we simply couldn’t help but be in a celebratory mood. According to some of the funniest speeches we’ve heard in some time, this wedding day was a long time in the making for these two high school sweethearts – and we’re so honored to have been a part of it.
