To all my dear friends, I promise you that this deluge engagement sessions will soon transform into a deluge of weddings :). Just like Bing and Roy here, who will be tying the knot in my old stomping grounds of Maryland/DC in just a few more weeks! To illustrate how small the Asian community is, we share a mutual friend with whom I attended leadership camp (which is sorta kinda like band camp, but “slightly” less dorkier) while we were in high school, and I even attended that mutual friend’s high school homecoming over 15 years ago! I’m seriously convinced there are only 2 degrees of separation between me and every Asian person on this planet. I find this highly amusing since I was one of two Asian kids IN THE ENTIRE SCHOOL while growing up (the other Asian kid was my little brother).
But I digress :).
Long story shorty, Bing and Roy were graciously introduced to me by these dear mutual friends (thank you Marco and Celeste!). After a few emails, a rendez-vous in the middle of a snowstorm, and a few more emails later, we found ourselves wandering around our nation’s capital with my camera in tow. This turned out to be a very informative session (for me, at least), because at least I now know the bride-to-be has a very contageous case of the giggles. And this, my friends, is why we do engagement sessions :).
Just miles and miles of smiles :). I love that, and these are the moments that I love capturing the most. Bing and Roy, you guys totally rocked your engagement session! We can’t wait to see you guys again in a few more weeks. To all my dear friends, prepare yourselves for a deluge of wedding awesomeness!!!
