Everyone loves a great story. As a wedding photographer, I’m one of the lucky few who get to document them for a living – but for the purposes of this post, it’s not “those” kinds of stories I’m referring to (you know, those romantic, sentimental kinda stories). I’m talking about the kind of stories on the opposite end of that spectrum, the kind that will eventually find itself on my very short list of “Craziest Weddings I’ve Ever Shot” (you know, the kind of stories that involves alcohol and an unwinnable fight between someone’s foot and a sea urchin…or something like that). Ashley & Ryan’s wedding in St. John USVI not only made this venerable list, but I surmise it will be at the top of this list for many years to come the rest of my life!
Ashley & Ryan’s wedding day started at their gorgeous hilltop villa overlooking Fish Bay. While we did get a little bit of rain midway through their wedding ceremony in Trunk Bay, everyone was in great spirits (while consuming copious amounts of it throughout the remainder of the evening!). Ashley & Ryan took great measures to ensure everyone was having a great time (including their photographers!), and we couldn’t have been more honored and thrilled to be a part of it.
