Ever since I’ve been curating my “grown-up” liquor cabinet over these past few months (much to my wife’s chagrin), I’ll have to admit that it’s been a while since I’ve popped open a bottle of wine. A wise man once said, “Wine is constant proof that God loves us, and loves to see us happy.” I couldn’t agree more :). Rimma & Danny are certainly a smiley, happy bunch, so it only made sense that we kick off their Brooklyn engagement session at one of my favorite Red Hook wineries. Though my initial plan was to show up a little earlier pre-shoot, so that I could…ahem…get inspired, it appeared Rimma & Danny came up with the same ingenius plan, and was already there when I arrived. After hitting some ridiculous home runs all over the place, we had a quick wardrobe change, made our way to their secret spot in Brooklyn: a waterfall nestled away in the heart of Prospect Park. Needless to say, this engagement session easily ranks as one of my favorites!
