If I ever had to pick out my favorite borough in New York City, it would have to be Brooklyn. Yes, while there may be a slight bias towards my birthplace and childhood stomping grounds, the place never ceases to amaze me with all its amazingness. It’s the home of Coney Island, IKEA and not to mention the Former New Jersey Nets! Most importantly, what I love most about Brooklyn as a wedding photographer are all the opportunities to explore all the spaces left untouched by big-box stores, photographers, and pretty much everyone else on the planet. So coming back here, especially on this day, was particularly special for me because I was tasked with the immense honor of photographing my cousin May’s wedding to her now-husband Lee!
You may remember them from a few months ago when we did go to Manhattan (*cough, cough*) for their portraits, but thats because we wanted to save all that awesomeness from our childhood stomping grounds for their actual big day!
We only see long veils so many times a year, so I always jump on the opportunity to play with them during our portrait sessions!
Sneak peeks for now, please stay tuned for more!
Happy Monday ya’ll :).
