When we first met Cassie and Keith in a quiet cafe near the outskirts of Hoboken, I remember the cafe being curiously empty. This is strange, I thought to myself.  Good coffee/tea in a cozy atmosphere? – This place should be packed! It was only moments later when I realized we had less than 45 minutes to wrap up our meeting! Cassie and Keith were beyond phenomenal and gracious as I blew through my presentation at a million words per minute (which is only slightly faster than my normal talking speed). I suppose it would’ve been somewhat comical to watch me juggle albums and print samples in the air; the only things missing would’ve been a clown nose and a unicycle. As we said our goodbyes later that evening, I went through my mental rolodex of information that never made it into the presentation. But at that point, I made peace with the fact that we would very well never see this awesome couple again.
But nevertheless, I did get one of our favorite kinds of emails a few weeks later. With their wedding date marked on our calendars, we set off to capture their engagement session in full Ben Lau Photography style :).
