I first met Kathleen and Tim on a distant island about 1700 miles away at another wedding, only to find ourselves back on our home island of New York City a few months later to discuss their wedding plans. Any groom-to-be who jumps into a pool while still wearing his nice clothes will always find a spot on my calendar :). These two will be hosting their wedding back in Kathleen’s home state of Pennsylvania next year, and we’re super excited and honored to have them in front of our cameras again.
We started our engagement session that morning in Central Park. The forecast called for sunny skies, but luckily the urban jungle of Manhattan provides plenty of cover as long as we stayed in the middle of the island :).
By late morning, the tourists and pedestrians started rolling in, so we did what we had to do to get folks out of the frame.
On a related note, I think the grass will be fine :).
And when in doubt, go under the West Side Hwy: good for bright shiny days as well as dark rainy days :).
Kathleen and Tim, thanks so much for coming out that morning and hanging out with yours truly! We hope you enjoyed these as much as we enjoyed capturing them and we can’t wait to see you guys again next year!
Our youngest is about to be a month old, and I can’t believe how fast time has flown by these past few weeks. It’s been tough trying to juggle two kids (actually, Karis is doing most of the juggling in this department) with a full blown shooting schedule this Fall. The positive in all of this is that Lil Monster’s 1.0 and 2.0 get to eat at least through 2013 :).
Happy Monday ya’ll!
