In the many years that we’ve been doing engagement sessions, we’ve had the pleasure of exploring pretty much every requisite engagement session location in New York City. But this particular engagement session had the distinct honor of featuring most of them in one day! Our day started at the High Line and Meatpacking, followed by a quick stop in Midtown, and finally wrapping up in Central Park and Columbus Circle. While I initially doubted we could pull this off due to parking and traffic, we blazed through the itinerary with flying colors :). Evelyn and Alex wanted to have their session reflect the 11 years they’d been together, and all the memories they’ve shared together while denizens of this great city.
Then, in true Ben Lau Photography fashion, it started to rain.
And just for fun :).
Evelyn and Alex, thank you so much for hanging out with us! We wish you guys smooth sailing for the remainder of your wedding planning, and we can’t wait to see you guys again in a few more months! We hope you enjoy these as much as we enjoyed capturing them :).
We are taking a half-day off today to take care of some things today. Namely, getting yours truly a new pillow with the tax refund we just received in the mail yesterday! Laugh as you may, but I’m actually looking forward to replacing my 20 year-old pillow. Then it’s back to the geekbox for us tonight, so we can share some more of all this engagement session awesomeness we’ve been capturing these past few weeks!
Happy Wednesday ya’ll,
Ben & Karis
