When Karis and I tied the knot almost 6 years ago, our initial guest count was just under 800. Yes, you read that right. We were “this” close to having our very own Big Fat Chinese Wedding had we not put the kabosh on inviting the entire village to our nuptials. We ended up with a more reasonable solution, which was two receptions with about 200 guests each. Even at a total count of 400 guests, this was still a sizable party by any measure. Fast forward to the present day, we’ve had the pleasure of documenting weddings of all sizes and flavors. But to date, we’ve yet to document any Big Fat [insert name of ethnic group here] Weddings that came even close to our initial number of 800. This was, of course, before we met Sonya & Godly.
Their wedding hasn’t even taken place yet, and my shutter finger is already quivering with excitement :). We recently spent the day with these two lovebirds right outside of Philadelphia. Prior to this session, Godly had scoured a 30 mile radius around Philadelphia for the perfect location for their engagement session. And quite honestly, I think he did a fabulous job!
