Every now and then, we get multiple inquiries for popular dates throughout the year (usually during the Fall months). This is generally a non-issue, because we’re either booked or we’re not. However in extremely rare cases, we’ll get two couples who request the same dates, merely days apart. At that point, I usually feel like a sleazy car salesman for telling both couples that someone else is looking at their dates (because they kinda have to take my word for it, without truly knowing if I’m telling the truth or if it’s some kind of high-pressure sales gimmick – though I can assure you we don’t play those kinds of games here!).
But none of this applied to Zoe and Alex anyway, as their date was booked literally the day before I met them at Alexis and Mike’s wedding (where Alex was a groomsmen and Zoe was the make-up artist extraordinaire!). This made us really sad because we genuinely enjoyed working with Zoe and Alex, and they literally just missed us by one day!
Long story short, the “other” couple had to change their date/venue and the rest was history. Sometimes, when things are meant to be, they’re simply meant to be :).
We spent the day stomping around their hometown of Morristown for their Spring engagement session. The weather was perfect, just like their timing.
Zoe and Alex, thank you so much for being incredibly awesome and giving us a taste of Morristown! We hope you enjoy these and we can’t wait to see you guys again later this year!
On a side note, these behind-the-scene shots are beginning to grow on me :).
The week is half over. What do you guys have planned for the weekend?
Happy Wednesday ya’ll!
