I recently read an article about how Parisians have been looking at the silver lining amidst this pandemic, one of which has been the opportunity to finally enjoy their city without all the tourists congesting their traffic, parks and attractions. What’s terrible for the tourism industry is boon for the locals, which I imagine is a similar experience among all the major cities around the world – and NYC would be no exception.
When I arrived in the Meatpacking District on the morning of Beulah & Josh’s engagement session, the streets were uncharacteristically empty with more parking spots than you’d know what to do with. As a recent transplant and a local non-local (Josh & Beulah, respectively), this engagement session was a perfect opportunity to explore a city which they now call their home. And of course, I wasn’t going to let them go home without first doing a quick sprint across the West Side Highway!
