There are many things that I love about my job; the opportunity to travel, meet new people, see new things, and partake in some of the happiest moments in a couple’s life together. However, the unfortunate reality is that we don’t really get to see familiar faces very often – but when we do, it’s like getting back on an old bicycle again. We recently found ourselves in such a scenario, as we documented Liz & Matt’s wedding back in Liz’s hometown in Connecticut. We had photographed her brother’s beautiful Connecticut wedding there just a year before, and Karis & I lamented the fact that we may never see these beautiful places/people again. Of course, Liz & Matt made sure that never happened :). Their wedding day at Eolia – The Mansion at Harkness State Park was one of the most beautiful weddings in Connecticut that we’ve ever had the privilege of capturing. After a small private ceremony at home with their family members, they (re)tied the knot in front of their guests at Eolia again for good measure. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day!
