When you live as close to the shore as we do, it’s almost a rite of passage for many young adults to find themselves sauntering around aimlessly on a boardwalk (at various stages of “festive-ness”) while shamelessly trying to call attention to the opposite sex. And speaking from personal experience, this annual summer mating ritual hardly ever ends well for either party…unless of course, you’re John Travolta & Olivia Newton John. Then again, I was probably way less cooler than I gave myself credit for :). In any case, Sam & Mike’s summer romance proved us all wrong, of course – now with a ring on her finger and a wedding on the horizon. We headed off the my old stomping grounds of Fort Lee for their wonderfully romantic engagement session, where we enjoyed wonderful views of NYC, the palisades, and some of the most photogenic public restrooms you’ll probably ever see!
