The weather here in NJ has been a little crazy lately. After enjoying some very curious 70° weather for much of the week, by the the time this weekend had arrived, we found ourselves rummaging through our closets for scarves and mittens that we had prematurely packed away in anticipation of an early arrival of spring. Jokes on us, Punxsutawney Phil :). Sarah & Mike’s wedding at the Heldrich Hotel was particularly special to me for a number of reasons: (1) One of my very first bookings in my career took place at this venue (it’s always amazing to see how far I’ve come!) and (2) Sarah & Mike operate a very successful photo booth company in Central NJ, which allowed them to be keenly aware of all the needs a typical wedding photographer (such as myself) would possibly have on a typical wedding day (so they gave me allllllll the time in the world!). I’ll have to admit, I was a little bit nervous about shooting in sub-freezing temperatures – but Sarah & Mike totally took one for the team and rocked their outdoor photos. We then treated ourselves to the gorgeous hotel bar afterwards, you know, as a reward for being such troopers. These guys totally deserved it!
