It’s official. The High Line Hotel now ranks as one of my most favorite wedding venues in New York City. Being able to share this experience with Donna & Gary was just the icing on top of this proverbial cake. A theological seminary in a past life, its main hall resembles something out of a Harry Potter movie. The Parisian style courtyard, complete with gas lamps and centuries-old gothic architecture, stands on what was once a 17th century apple orchard. Impressed yet? Thought so :). Together with the musical sounds of The Michael Hart Band and the gorgeous decor courtesy of Adam Leffel, this wedding was a wedding photographer’s dream. For Donna & Gary, it was the dream wedding of a lifetime. On this very cold, late Winter day, Donna got ready in a cozy little suite on the property with her small, intimate bridal party. Meanwhile, Gary was relegated to one of the great halls on the property, with just enough room for his rowdy cast of groomsmen to spread out and do your typical groomsmen-y things :).
