Had you met me 12 years ago and asked if I had any intentions of returning back to NYC from Maryland, I would’ve been mildly amused. My routine, family, friends, and home – everything I knew and loved was conveniently scattered between 495 and 695. Then out of nowhere, along came a wife, two kids, and a lil house in the middle suburban New Jersey. And by the looks of it, it doesn’t appear I’ll leaving this place anytime soon either. As I’m typing this, it’s difficult to imagine a life anywhere else with anyone else. Brittani shares a similar story (we even worked at the same mall, for crying out loud!), who now hangs her hat in Jersey with the love of her life Brett. This, along with Brett’s uncanny resemblance to a famous rapper, left us with plenty to talk about/hysterically laugh about during their engagement session in Jersey City and Hoboken. Although temperatures were frigid by the waterfront, we took plenty of pit stops along some of Brett’s old stomping grounds in Hoboken to warm up with a couple of drinks! Totally my kinda couple. Totally my kinda engagement session :).
