Back in my college days, I had a roommate who was from Minnesota. There wasn’t much that I knew about Minnesota in those days, besides it being the stomping grounds of Prince, Kirby Puckett and my choice of beer at the time (anything that came in a case of 30 was good enough for me). Thanks to my roommate, I would quickly learn it was also home of all things cold…like, ridiculously, wrath of God, you’ve-gotta-be-kidding-me cold. The temperature outside our dorms would be in the teens, and my roommate would be wearing a t-shirt…with the windows open.
We all wanted to kill him, seriously.
And I’d never feel that kinda cold again…until recently when we did Maria & Gennaro’s engagement session. My usual remedy for these ridiculously cold temperatures is shooting indoors, mostly because I’m alot more older sensible now (compared to the 19 year-old me). But truth be told, every newly engaged couples should have some outdoor scenery for their engagement sessions. Naturally, I would be the one to gladly help them do it.
Maria & Gennaro will be tying the knot at the Deseversky Mansion later this year, so they made arrangements for us to use their gorgeous space for this engagement session. Sounds pretty good to me :).
