There are probably several things in life in which I consider myself somewhat of an expert: spam varieties and the bajillion ways to cook them, to name a few. But when it comes to being a photographer who moonlights as an unofficial NYC tour guide, I’ll probably rank myself somewhere between my skills as a bbq chicken grill master (pretty darn good) and following a GPS navigation properly (pretty darn abyssmal, much to Karis’ chagrin). Regardless of the role I’ll invariably play for our guests/clients, the unbeaten path generally trumps the beaten one. It only took me a short time to realize that for our brides & grooms, the experience of being photographed on their big day is always an exciting new adventure. Kay & Tim’s adventure started that morning at the Hotel Conrad near Battery Park, with quick stops at City Hall, DUMBO and finally wrapping up their big day at Times Square.
