On the eve of Susanne and John’s City Hall wedding, Mother Nature dumped a foot of snow all over the NYC metropolitan area. Depending on one’s view of wintry weather, this would either be a disaster, or a blessing in disguise. For us, this was very much the latter, as most New Yorkers had shuttered themselves inside the warmth of their cozy homes. This meant we had the entire city to ourselves: no traffic, no long lines and no tourists! Their day started early that morning, as the sun slowly rose from behind the Verrazano Bridge.
