We started our day in the Meatpacking, surrounded by throngs of pedestrians wearing their cameras, children, and sometimes even both. It was a clear sign that spring in the city had arrived, with summer not far behind. After a quick run around the cobblestone streets around the High Line, we decided that perhaps a quieter environment would be more apropros for Marilyn and Taylor’s NYC engagement session. A hop in the car and a few bridges later, we found ourselves on Roosevelt Island; a quiet and peaceful sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the city, boasting skyline views of both Manhattan AND Queens (kinda). Now that’s more like it!
Marilyn and Taylor, thank you so much for trekking in the car with us for practically the entire day! We hope you guys enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed spending time with you two. We can’t wait to see you guys again in a few more weeks!
As for us, we’ve got one helluva crazy week ahead! We’ll be shooting in five states over the next six days. It’s going to be a doozy, but I know we’ll be enjoying every moment of it :).
